Welcome to Christian Fellowship International!

The first Christian Fellowship Church of the Rio Grande Valley was established by Ron and Anne Corzine on Easter Sunday 1982, in Harlingen, Texas. Since that time Ron has established other churches in Mexico, New Mexico and Texas. From the church planting was born Christian Fellowship International.  Through the years he have been privileged to meet and make many friends around the world and now partner with them in ministry.

sign.jpgThose who attend Christian Fellowship Churches come from a variety of backgrounds, but we share the belief that the gospel (good news) of the Kingdom of God can change our lives. We believe God can be pleased and feel we bring Him pleasure as we walk in continual fellowship and relationship with Him and others. We have a mutual dedication to advancing God’s kingdom on earth.

Although each Christian Fellowship Church is unique by its leadership and style, we’re progressive and yet traditional in our values. Our desire is to be relevant and practical while seeking to apply the Word of God to every area of our life. We practice enthusiastic worship, and diligent discipleship.

We seek to implement Biblical principles as we understand them, in our civic, economic/business, and family lives, as well as in our personal relationships with the Lord.

We are optimistic about the future because God has promised to bless His people with great protection and increase, both in real time and in history. We challenge all believers to participate in God’s plan by adopting an optimistic, enthusiastic, and confident view toward the future.

Paris, Texas - December 12-13

Paul and Susan

Anne and I were able to be with our CFI church in Paris, Texas for their 2008 Christmas banquet.  We always enjoying visiting the Paris church and spending time with Pastor Paul and Susan.  The people at CFC Paris are some of the friendliest poeple in North Texas.  Maybe  because I am a Texas country boy I am prejudice.  But I love county living and country people.

Houston, Texas - December 5-6

Anne and I spent our 40th anniversary in Houston this weekend.  While we were there we attended a seminar at LRC and heard Father Richard Rohr speak.  Richard is a Franciscan of the New Mexico Province. He was the founder of the New Jerusalem Community in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1971, and the Center for Action and Contemplation in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1986, where he presently serves as Founding Director. We had a wonderful time and were thrilled to share an evening meal with Richard, his associate Stephen, as well as Ernie and Lyn Fitzpatrick.
